Arkansas Supreme Court Hearing Arguments on Gay Marriage Ban

The Arkansas Supreme Court is set to hear oral arguments as it decides on the state’s ban on gay marriage.

Arguments start tomorrow morning at 9. They’ll only last about 40 minutes, and then justices will start deliberating. A spokesman for the court says the justices have already looked at the case’s history and briefs that has been filed. Tomorrow’s arguments give justices a chance to ask each side final questions before issuing an opinion. The spokesman expected the court’s decision to come in about 3 to 5 weeks.
