According to a RAZAlert notification sent out around 9:15 Thursday night, University Police received a report of a possible robbery in Pomfret Residence Hall around 6:00 PM. UAPD is investigating the incident and are searching for the suspect described as a black man with scruffy facial hair, in his mid 20s, wearing black sweat pants and a maroon long-sleeved hooded sweatshirt carrying a pink backpack. It was reported that the man was holding a small pistol when he entered the building following closely behind some residents.
The Division of Student Affairs has put University Housing units, the Student Union, and Mullins Library on full alert. Students are asked to take caution and anyone with information on or locate the suspect are asked to call UAPD at 479-575-2222..
