A new app is coming to the U of A that will help keep students safe on campus. Rave Mobile Safety has created an app called “Rave Guardian”. The app will turn your smart phone into a personal safety device that will deliver critical information to safety officials in real-time. Students can create safety profiles, set a safety timer and push an emergency button in the app that alerts officials of their exact GPS location. Rave Guardian will be available for Android and iPhone users. The app will launch in Fayetteville at the end of the year.
