According to police, a man was arrested on the U of A campus with 2 guns. Police say they were approached by a person who said that there was a Jeep parked in Lot 7 that had been running since midnight. The officer found 21 year old Christopher Hart passed out behind the wheel with the car still running. The report says Hart had bloodshot eyes and the officer found several alcohol cans in the car. The officer found out from dispatch that Hart had a concealed carry permit. Police found several small caliber bullets in the car and when asked about them, Hart reached his hand into his pocket but the officer stopped him. According to the report, Hart admitted to having a loaded handgun in his front pocket. After a search, the officer found another loaded handgun in the console. Hart was arrested and he faces charges of carrying a weapon in a prohibited place and possession of a handgun on school property.
