The City of Fayetteville is launching a new alert system at a press conference this Friday at 11:00 a.m. at City Hall. Mayor Lioneld Jordan will give details about the new Fayetteville alert system and how to sign up. It’s a free emergency alert service for Fayetteville residents, businesses, and people working or going to school in Fayetteville. It will send you a notice by cell phone, email, or text message about life-threatening events, like tornadoes, severe storms, flash flooding, and other severe weather bulletins.
