With the increase of threats in Northwest Arkansas schools, UATV looked into the possible charges behind bomb threats. In the state of Arkansas, if a student is caught making a threat, they could be arrested on suspicion of terroristic threatening, which is a Class D felony, and could be punished with up to 6 years in prison. Students caught making bomb threats could also face expulsion and may be required to pay back the money used by law enforcement to investigate the threat.
