The Razorbacks are going through their first week of spring practice this week. They’ve got nowhere to go but up, coming off last season’s dismal 3-9 campaign. Sophomore Tight End Hunter Henry will be key in Arkansas’ passing game this season. He says the Razorbacks are ready to put last season behind them, and start fresh in 2014.
“As a team, I think we’re kind of driven right now,” Henry said. “We’re kind of putting everything behind us and we’re just looking forward to the future. I think we’re just excited and ready to be back on the field.”
Junior Running Back Jonathan Williams is poised to have another great season in 2014. The Allen, Texas native rushed for 900 yards and four touchdowns last season. He also added a couple touchdown catches as well. Thanks to Strength and Conditioning Coach Ben Herbert, Williams put on more muscle in the offseason. He kept his speed during the process, and here’s how he did it.
“Coach Herbert is a mastermind in the weight room,” Williams said. “I just follow his plan. He lays out the guidelines and I just follow what he tells me to do.”
