Recovery efforts are under way after an explosion took place today in east Harlem, New York. The explosion leveled 2 5-story apartment buildings and even left many residents traumatized. The blast killed at least three people and has hospitalized dozens more, one with critical injuries and the rest with minor. Authorities are still trying to figure out the cause of the blast but suspect the it is due to a gas leak reported before the explosion.
