Just yesterday, the southern parts of the U-S were pummeled by an ice and snow storm and now it’s the northeastern part’s turn. A major winter storm is barreling down on much of the east coast. Authorities worry snow and ice could cause power outages and destruction more extensive than what they’ve seen in past winters. This is the sixth major storm to hit New York this year. The mayor decided to keep schools open but he is gaining major backlash from citizens. The snow is expected to continue tonight and into tomorrow.
