The Arkansas Department of Health says the number of flu deaths this year has risen to 39. The A-D-H says the flu is causing severe illness and death in adults between the ages of 25 and 64.Of this age group, 27 people have died. The A-D-H says this year’s numbers are on track to tie last year’s numbers, which was one of the worst in the last 30 years.
