For the 5th straight year, Fayetteville has been honored as Arkansas’ top volunteer community. The substantial growth of students at the U of A was a factor in creating more volunteers for the city’s organizations. A tremendous achievement for the city was the 7,868 hours of volunteer work dedicated to the Fayetteville Animal Shelter.
