Election Administration Releases Findings to Make Voting Faster

Election

The Presidential Commission on Election Administration, put in place by President Barack Obama, is made up of 10-members. Today, they released an outline of recommendations for making the voting process faster. One fix is to expand online voter registration. Also, to improve access to voting for members of the military through state websites. Plans to expand early voting are being discussed as well. Obama met with the members of the commission at the White House today, and called these recommendations common sense, pushing for Congress to help implement these fixes in the over 8-thousand voting jurisdictions. Obama also said that no American should have to wait more than a half an hour to vote.
