One student is dead after a shooting earlier today at Purdue University. The shooting took place around noon on the west side of campus. The suspected shooter Cody Cousins is currently in custody. Purdue Police Chief John Cox says he believes this was an isolated and intentional incident. After the shooting Cousins stepped out of the building and surrendered to police on scene. Authorities still have not come up with a motive.
