Nevada authorities are investigating a shooting at a Carson City medical center. Sheriff officials say around 11:30 Sunday morning 88 year old William Dresser walked into a hospital room and shot his wife in the chest. She was hospitalized for previous injuries. Correctional officers safeguarding a patient a couple doors away helped subdue Dresser. He is jailed on attempted murder charges. The sheriff says he’s under a suicide watch.
