An Arkansas state football player and his stepfather are dead after a home invasion in western Tennessee last night. 21 year old Markel Owens was home with his mother when two masked men broke into their apartment. The two suspects demanded money and a fight began. Owens, his mom and her husband were all shot. The two men died but Owens’ mom was treated and released from the hospital. Police say the suspects got away with a large amount of cash and they found marijuana in the apartment. They believe the husband was specifically targeted but
so far, no one has been arrested.
