Spending Bill Passes US House

House lawmakers have approved a 1.1 trillion dollar spending bill which would fund the government until September.
The new measure would roll back past spending cuts and includes a 1-percent increase in federal worker and military personnel pay. This is the first increase in three years for most agencies. It would also protect disabled veterans and military spouses from a pension cut expected to go into effect in 2015. The bill is headed to the Senate where it is expected to pass.
