One of the main stadiums for the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil is lagging behind crucial completion deadlines set for June’s biggest tournament in international soccer. The Arena Pantanal stadium located in Cuiabá , is still undergoing construction work due to material shortages and contractual issues. Some of the incomplete components of this multi-use venue are roofing for the entry-exit facilities and the seating. The Construction Project Manager says that they are behind because of the lack of resources given to his company, and the six other venues that were made priority for the this summer’s World Cup. The construction started in April 2010, and is expected to be finally delivered to organizers in mid-February. It will host four group matches during the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
