Today marks the fifth year anniversary for the Miracle on the Hudson. Gratitude was given to all of those who helped keep everyone on the plane alive. Captain Chelsey Sullenberger landed US Airways flight 15-49 safely on the Hudson after taking off from LaGuardia Airport and having geese disable the engines, five years ago today. After Sullenberger and about a half dozen of the 155 passengers thanked the ferry boat company, they sailed out to the location of the landing to make a toast. The incident has caused changes to how airline industries deal with bird strikes.
