University of Arkansas music professor James Greeson was honored by the National Academy of Arts and Sciences with an Emmy for his original score in the documentary Up Among the Hills: The story of Fayetteville. Greeson accepted the award at the 37th Annual Mid-America Emmy Gala.
Up Among the Hills was written and directed by U of A journalism professor Larry Foley, and narrated by former resident of Fayetteville and President of the United States, Bill Clinton.
