Arkansas teachers may no longer have to worry about an increase in health insurance.
Governor Mike Beebe called a special session to be held Thursday to stabilize health insurance premiums for public school employees.
The session will involve four bills focusing on health care and will also include short term and long term proposals.
As of now, Arkansas teachers can expect health insurance rates to increase by fifty percent beginning January 1.
