As many as 100 University of Arkansas employees could be furloughed this week due to the government shutdown.
University officials say they’re working to reduce the number of affected employees–but they’re still reviewing all faculty, staff and students who are paid fully or partially through federal funds.
Furloughed employees will receive official notice from the university’s human resource office when a decison has been made.
