A woman accused of impersonating country musician Alison Krauss and stealing money from an elderly man is in custody today. Police say Sue Evers posed as Alison Krauss on a dating website and stole nearly 300-thousand dollars from an elderly man. Evers turned herself in and showed up to her scheduled court appearance, after failing to take a court-ordered mental evaluation. Evers is facing felony charges of exploitation.

Home sales for the month of August have come in and the state of Arkansas saw a 24 percent increase since last year. Benton County led the state for most home sales followed by Pulaski County and Washington County. The state also saw a slight decrease in the cost of homes this year.
