After a disappointing performance at the Coca-Cola Classic and dropping to 19th in the polls the Diamond Hogs bounced back this weekend in their series against San Diego State.
The hogs swept the four game series, and Coach Dave Van Horn earned his 1,000th career victory over the weekend. Throughout the series the Razorbacks previously silent offense reemerged, and outscored the Aztecs by a total of 12 runs. Pitching was also excellent as Colin Poche lead the way in a six-hit shutout to open the series. Up next for Arkansas is a midweek series against Alabama A&M. The first game is set for Tuesday with first pitch at 6:35 pm.
