One of Fayetteville’s oldest running bars is closing for re-modling and will be re-opened under new management. Located at 107 North Block avenue, Maxine’s Tap Room will soon be run by local business owners Rebekah and Matt Champagne, Ben Gitchel and Hannah Withers. The group signed for the lease last Friday and the bar will be closed for the next six weeks for exterior and interior renovations. They hope to have the bar up and running again by early April.
