For the fourth consecutive year, Fayetteville has been named the Volunteer Community of the year. The award is won by communites in Arkansas that show a great amount of volunteer work through community service. According to Fayetteville officials, the city had over thirty-thousand volunteers and over a half of a million hours of community service in the past year.
