Although no one from Arkansas won the $500 million lottery last night, the state did cash in on the Powerball money. During the 7-week period leading up to last nights drawing, Arkansans won over $1 million in Powerball prizes.
Retailers sold more than $3 million work of tickets yesterday alone.
The Arkansas Scholarship lottery program gained more than $4 million during the seven weeks.
There were two winning tickets for the $500 million. They were sold in Missouri and Arizona.
