Fifteen people were sentenced to a combined 77 years in prison for a massive drug trafficking scheme in Northwest Arkansas. State and local police have been working on Operation La Pantera Negra for over two years. They have prosecuted 31 suspects over the time. Police have seized over 100 pounds of methamphetamine, thousands of dollars in cash, and multiple cars and firearms.
All defendants pleaded guilty to various charges.
