Student Access Passes On Sale Now

The 2012 Arkansas Razorback football season is quickly approaching, meaning that students can now purchase 2012-2013 Student Access Passes. The pass allows students to attend all Fayetteville football games as well as all men’s basketball games, using their student ID as a ticket.

This year, 12,000 passes were for sale for $85 each. The release date was an exciting time for many, but for others it caused confusion and stress.

“I signed on at 8 a.m., and I ended up not getting them until 12:30 that afternoon,” said senior Kellen Summers.

The anticipation for the access passes caused problems for ISIS, the program students used to buy the tickets. The overload resulted in the program acting very slow, and in some instances, failing to load.

“I thought I was gonna be the only senior at the U of A without football tickets,” said senior Avery Ely.

But the fear that all the passes would sell out quickly turned out not to be true. The university sold less than half of the passes on the first day, leaving nearly 8,000 passes to still be sold after day one.

Student Access Passes are still available, students can visit arkansasrazorbacks.com for more information on purchasing.
