The 2011 Miss Arkansas passed down her crown and title to Sloane Roberts, making her the new ambassador to the state. Roberts has been competing in pageants since she was thirteen, and since has held the titles of Miss Arkansas Outstanding Teen as well as Miss Heart of the Ozarks.
The vibrant 19 year old, U of A student has already begun her duties as reining queen, making many appearances and media stops around the state. Roberts has always known that this was something she wanted to do because “it was something that could pay for my school through all the scholarships I could earn, and just build me up and make me a better person.”
Roberts will travel the state working with the Morgan Nick Foundation, promoting the Love Always Hopes platform which helps to prevent child abduction. Miss Arkansas 2012 will compete in Miss America pageant in January 2013 in Las Vegas.
