Fayetteville, Ark – With football season nearing, the Razorback football team and fans now know the times and television destinations the Hogs will be playing their first 3 games on.
The season will kick off on Saturday, September 1st against Jacksonville State at 6 p.m. on Pay Per View. Addition details on the PPV game will come at a later date.
Arkansas will then play the University of Louisiana-Monroe on Sept. 8 at 6p.m. on ESPNU at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock.
The game that everyone will be looking forward to however, will come on Sept. 15, when the Razorbacks take on the defending National Champions, the Alabama Crimson Tide. The Hogs and Tide will be the CBS featured game of the week with kick-off set for 2:30pm. This is the 3rd straight season that the Hogs will face the defending National Championship team at home. The Arkansas-Alabama game will also kick off the 12th straight year that CBS has nationally televised SEC games.
The only other game that is set for television is the LSU game on November 23rd with kick-off set for 1:30 pm on CBS. The times and telecasts of the other games will not be announced until 12 days before the game.
