Fayetteville, Ark. – The heat on The Hill is responsible for the death of a man on the University of Arkansas Campus. Washington County Coroner Roger Morris said that a contractor working on campus was taken to Washington Regional Medical Center on Sunday after becoming physically weak, disoriented and in pain. Morris said the man’s internal body temperature was 109-degrees when he arrived at the hospital. The man died from the heat exposure on Monday. His name is not being released until the family is notified.
