Fayetteville Fire crews responded to a fire at an abandoned building near the University Baptist Church Student Activity Center at about 2:30 a.m. Wednesday.
The building was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived, but they were able to control the fire by about 4:30 a.m.
There have been no injuries reported and there is still no word on the cause or extent of damage.
The first fire this month in the area was at Flying Possum Leather on Dickson Street. The business caught on fire March 7th and the owner Bruce Walker was killed.
