During the severe weather in the Natural State Sunday night, a 4.7 magnitude earthquake hit near Greenbrier in central Arkansas at 11 p.m.
There were three other aftershock quakes that measured 3.8 18 minutes after the initial shock, a 3.6 magnitude quake at 2:46 a.m. and a 3.2 at 7:06 a.m. Monday.
Students at the University of Arkansas and residents across Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Tennessee and Mississippi reported on the U.S.G.S. website and on various social media sites that they felt the 4.7 quake.
Greenbrier police dispatcher Jessica Bradford said no injuries or serious damage were reported.
