As the first preseason college football coaches’ poll was released today, the University of Arkansas Razorback football team found themselves ranked 19th in the nation. Arkansas is one of six SEC teams ranked in the preseason poll.
Coming off a strong 8-5 season, ending in a Liberty Bowl victory over East Carolina, the Hogs return a team that led the league in passing offense (278.8) and scoring offense (36.0), a first in program history.
The six SEC schools ranked in the top-25 is the most of any conference in the nation. The Alabama Crimson Tide leads the way at the top spot, followed by Florida (3), LSU (16), Georgia (21), and Auburn (23).
The Razorbacks first game is set for September 4th against Tennessee Tech at 6 p.m. in Razorback Stadium.
