Three year NFL player and former star running back for the University of Arkansas Darren McFadden helped one boy get his wish.
In the debut of the 2010 edition of SportsCenter’s “My Wish,” 10 year old Jailen Cooper gets his wish to meet the Oakland Raiders and his favorite player granted. The special will air Sunday, during the 10 a.m. ET edition of SportsCenter.
Jailen’s wish began when he received a phone call from Raiders head coach Tom Cable inviting him to spend the day with the team. He got to hoist the Lombardi Trophy, hang out in the locker room, and tackle his favorite star, Darren McFadden.
The “My Wish” series is a collaboration with the Make-A-Wish Foundation® and ESPN. The series will continue Monday through Thursday featuring a new wish each day during the 6 p.m. ET edition of the program.
