Walmart Stores Incorporated is gearing up for its annual stockholders meeting — scheduled for June 4.
Walmart kicks off festivities Tuesday with a free concert by Tim McGraw and the Zac Brown Band — according to 40/29 News. Wednesday’s concert features the Barenaked Ladies and REO. Doors open at 6 p.m. — concerts start at 7 p.m.
Around 4,000 associates head to Northwest Arkansas for the meeting. University of Arkansas Media Director Steve Voorhies says campus dorms will be available for associates. Voorhies says he expects the associates to stay four to six nights bringing the university about $400,000.
