Today marks the Razorbacks (14-16, 7-8), final home game of the season as they host the Ole Miss Rebels (20-9, 8-7). It will also mark the final home game called by radio play-by-play announcer, Mike Nail. He will be retiring after 29 years of service to the University of Arkansas. 3:02 p.m.- Seniors and starters have been announced, and Courtney Fortson opens the game with a trey, early 3-0 lead for Arkansas.
3:07 p.m.- We’ve reached our first media timeout at the 15:52 mark. Hogs lead 8-2.
3:15 p.m.- With 12:30 to play, we’re all knotted up at Bud Walton Arena. Hogs 12 Rebels 12
3:18 p.m.- Timeout on the floor with 11:21 left in the first half and Arkansas leads, 17-12. Fortson and Stef Welsh lead all scorers with five points each.
3:31 p.m.- Fast break leads to a big slam by Marshawn Powell, assisted by Fortson. Hogs open their lead to 12 points, 28-16.
3:34 p.m.- After scrambling for a lose ball, Marcus Britt throws it to Rotnei Clarke, who doesn’t hesitate and nails a three-pointer. Arkansas controls a 32-20 lead.
3:40 p.m.- Timeout on the floor with 3:39 to play in the opening half, Arkansas ahead 36-24.
3:45 p.m.- Consecutive steals and layups by Ole Miss cuts the Arkansas lead to six, 36-30, with 2:21 to play in the opening half.
3:48 p.m.- Julysses Nobles scores five points in the last minute and a half, while Arkansas opens up a ten point lead heading to the half.
3:54 p.m.- Three Razorbacks lead the team with eight points: Courtney Fortson, Marcus Britt, Julysses Nobles. Ole Miss’ Chris Warren leads all scorers with 11.
4:15 p.m.- Ole Miss begins the second half with an 8-0 run. Media timeout on the floor, Hogs now lead 47-41.
4:19 p.m.- Rotnei Clarke is 3-for-4 today from beyond the arc. His last three gave him 100 for the season, only the 2nd Razorback to do so.
4:23 p.m.- Razorback hold an eight-point advantage, 56-48.
4:28 p.m.- Courtney Fortson picks up his four personal foul with 7:52 to play. In the meantime, Julyssus Nobles limped to the locker room followed by head trainer, Dave England.
4:34 p.m.- Julysses Nobles has checked back into the game, and Bud Walton gets loud with Arkansas leading 62-53.
4:38 p.m.- Marcus Britt nails a jumper for his 12th point of the game. Arkansas leads, 64-56, with 5:01 to play.
4:47 p.m.- Arkansas ahead 65-61 with 2:46 to play.
4:51 p.m.- Crowd gets loud but Ole Miss makes a basketball and the Hog lead is trimmed to only two, 65-63, with 1:06 to play.
5:02 p.m.- Sorry for the delay, have some technical issues. Arkansas trails now, 68-66, to Ole Miss with 8.2 seconds to play in the game.
