UA To Increase 2010 Football Ticket Prices

The University of Arkansas athletic department announced in a release today that ticket prices for home football games would go up $10 for SEC conference games and $10 for games played at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock. Non-conference games played in Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium will remain $45.

The ticket price increase for games played in Little Rock will help counter-balance the money lost from not playing the game in Fayetteville. There are also some cosmetic changes to War Memorial, including a new press box and skyboxes, that will be funded by the ticket increase.

The most expensive ticket for next year will be the LSU game at $65. That same ticket two years ago only cost $45.

The press release also said that there will not be an increase in next years basketball ticket pricing and that football student tickets will remain $1 a game.
