UPDATE: Fayetteville Public Schools will be closed Monday, February 1, because of road conditions.
I was able to get out and drive around town a little bit today. The main roads are clear and passable. Razorback, MLK and College specifically. There are plenty of back-roads that are too treacherous to drive right now though. No word on if area schools or the University of Arkansas will be closed tomorrow, but we will keep you posted.
Crews have been clearing out all of the parking lots around campus, so it looks like that are preparing for classes tomorrow at the University of Arkansas. For those students that headed home to avoid the weather: Make sure to take a look at the road conditions of the highways around the area before you travel back to Fayetteville.
