It’s what cars do with little traction. It’s what is happening to my time at this University. And snow-cation 2010 reminded me of both of those facts.
Every news reporter known to man, this time of year, always says the same thing. “Use caution on the roadways. And please stay indoors unless it’s an emergency.” Both of these pieces of advice are good ones. But we are in college, so of course I didn’t listen.
With class and jobs getting in the way, it was great for a couple of days to let the snow take over and wipe the slate clean. For this weekend, I was a kid again.
