UPDATE- Arkansas Football Now Headed to a Bowl Game

The University of Arkansas Football team is now finally preparing to head to Memphis for the Liberty Bowl.  Arkansas [7-5] will play East Carolina [9-4] on January 2nd at 4:30 PM.  The game will be televised on ESPN.  Tickets cost 50 dollars.

The Razorbacks have visited the Liberty Bowl three times before- each game resulting in a loss.  Bobby Petrino’s Louisville team playing the in the Liberty Bowl in 2004- Louisville defeated Boise State 44-40.

Petrino on the game- “I’m excited about the preparation for the game and our team learning how to prepare for a bowl game.”

For those season ticket holders that have pre-ordered bowl tickets, all requested quantities will be honored. Fans with further questions may contact the Razorback Ticket Office at 1-800-982-HOGS (4647).

Student ticket sales will go on sale Wednesday.

UPDATE- After contacting the Razorback Ticket Office today, it has been confirmed that student tickets will also cost $50.00 and begin going on sale Wednesday at 8am. The ticket office closes at 5pm, but with the high traffic we experienced on the phone with them today (8 minute wait) I expect the tickets to sale fast.
